Hey there! I’m Milo, originally a Minnesota native, now I find myself beginning and ending my travels from sunny South Carolina.
Growing up my family prioritized spending time outdoors together. Camping was a regular affair, along with plenty of time in the car road tripping. Guess you could say the travel bug bit me when I was only 7 years old. I’ll never forget my first time flying- my family flew from Minneapolis to Chicago. My forehead was glued to the window the entire time! I used to love spilling my guts on the first day of school talking about my summer travels. I still have all those old scrapbooks from Washington D.C. to San Diego. Now I do all my sharing on Milo’s Wildlife!
It wasn’t until my freshman year of college that I flew internationally for the first time. My summer abroad in South Africa left my crisp passport begging to be stamped again and again. In the decade since that summer, I have been privileged enough to visit over a dozen other countries. And I certainly don’t plan on slowing down anytime soon either.
I’ve curated Milo’s Wildlife to be a guide for travelers who want to connect with nature. From years as an Environmental Educator, I continue to help spark life-changing experiences with people and wildlife. This platform acts to inspire and engage travelers to discover the natural world and help protect it in the process. During my travels, I have been able to connect with nature all over the globe and I want to guide others in their own wild journeys.
